Pamela is the Dean for the Faculty of Graduate Studies at Athabasca University and an Associate Professor. She holds Adjunct Professor status at the University of Manitoba and Univesity of Alberta. She is also a Research Affiliate with the Manitoba Centre for Nursing and Health Research, University of Manitoba and with the Centre on Aging at the University of Manitoba. Her program of research examines the barriers and issues related to the delivery and use of community services by older adults and their formal and informal caregivers. She is also involved in a national study determining the nature of vision care services for older adults and the relationship of vision interventions on falls and fractures.
